An Overview of Our Trucking Capabilities
 The
Wright Bros. Aero Logistics department was formed in 1994 at
the Dayton Intl. Airport to provide transportation services
for our various airfreight customers. The department has since
evolved to provide many other services. Currently the Logistics
Manager, James V. Terebinski oversees the operation and has
been with Wright Bros. Aero since year 2001.
The Logistics department offers customers one-stop transportation
services. The services include expedited pickup & deliveries
(“hot shot” deliveries that are delivered directly
without delay), local courier zone deliveries, dedicated runs,
and daily shuttles. Some of our primary customers include
Delphi, General  Motors,
and Miami Valley Worldwide. The department currently handles
pickup & deliveries nationwide with the primary focus
in the Eastern United States. This department also provides
warehouse services with their 24,000 sq ft facility to include
pick & pull warehousing, short/long term storage, and
ocean sea-container build-up/breakdown services.
In conjunction with our aviation FBO department, Domestic
and International exclusive cargo aircraft charter brokering
and airfreight loading/unloading services are also available.
The department utilizes a software application, Prophesy
Dispatch, to record, dispatch, and invoice, all of the services
of the department. This same application also includes a street
to street mileage and routing feature that we use for all
of our mileage-based deliveries. The department prides itself
on providing prompt service, proof of deliveries, competitive
rates, and friendly personnel both from the office and from
the road.
